Return and Refund Policy – “Love It In Your Home Or it's on us!”

At MerryLuk, we want you to love what you buy. That’s why we offer our “Love It In Your Home Or It's on us!” Refund Policy, which gives eligible customers the flexibility to return products within 30 days if they’re not completely satisfied.

Eligibility for Refund Under Our 30-Day Return Policy

This policy applies to online orders made through www.merryluk.com.au and is valid only for the following metro postcodes in Australia:

  • Sydney Metro: 2000–2080, 2085–2158, 2160–2229, 2231–2234, 2555–2559, 2564–2567, 2745–2750, 2759–2770

  • Melbourne Metro: 3000–3062, 3065–3097, 3101–3138, 3140–3207

  • Brisbane Metro: 4000–4037, 4051–4078, 4101–4179

  • Adelaide Metro: 5000–5115, 5120–5121, 5125–5127, 5158–5169

  • Canberra Metro: 0200–0299, 2600–2620, 2900–2920

  • Perth Metro: 6000–6100

Refund Policy for Customers Outside Metro Postcodes

If you live outside these eligible metro areas, return shipping costs will be your responsibility. This includes both the original shipping cost to you and the return freight to our warehouse—even if you originally received free, discounted, or promotional shipping.

Valid Reasons to Request a Refund

You can request a refund under this policy for the following valid reasons:

  • The product is damaged or faulty

  • The product does not match its description

  • The item arrives in a damaged condition

  • You are not satisfied with the product for a valid reason under Australian Consumer Law

Proof of Purchase and Store Credit Request Process

To begin the refund process, you must provide valid proof of purchase and explain your reason for sending the item back. We’ll review your request and determine if it qualifies under this Refund Policy.

Store Credit Policy Exclusions

The following items are excluded from our Credit Policy:

  • Assembled, used, or damaged products

  • Clearance items or products sold as-is

  • Items for commercial/non-domestic use

  • Customized items, mattresses, bedding, sofa covers, pillows, gift cards

  • Orders older than 30 days

  • Products purchased outside of www.merryluk.com.au

We reserve the right to decline refunds for any products that fall under these exclusions.

Limits on Refunds and Return Frequency

To prevent policy abuse, we may limit the number of refunds allowed per customer or cap the total refund amount. These limits are imposed at our discretion.

Refund Conditions for Commercial and Personal Use

This policy is strictly intended for personal use. We reserve the right to refuse refunds for any items that appear to be purchased for commercial resale or if we suspect misuse of our refund policy.

Product Condition Requirements for Credit Approval

To qualify for a store credit, items sent back must be:

  • Unused and unassembled

  • Free of any damage or wear

  • Securely and adequately packaged to avoid damage during transit

How We Process Your Refund

Once your product is received and inspected:

  • You may choose a full refund or a store credit

  • Refunds are processed within 14 business days

  • If you're outside eligible metro zones, return shipping costs will be deducted

  • Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue

Replacement or store credit Options

If a replacement is required, we may dispatch it before receiving your return. If it's on backorder, you’ll be informed and can choose between a refund or waiting for restock.

Credit Claim Validity and In-Person Returns

We reserve the right to reject credit claims if we find they do not meet our Returns and Refund Terms. If you'd like to send your product back in person, please contact us to arrange this.

After receiving your item and verifying its condition, we will issue your refund to the original payment method within 14 days.
